Turning Point Open Bible Church
11911 North Division Street
Spokane, Washington
This year's Conference theme is "Overcoming Evil with Good." We live in a deeply troubled world, filled with crime, broken lives, and turmoil. Scripture calls us to not be overcome by this, but rather to triumph over evil!
The following workshops will be offered to help you sharpen your ministry skills and understanding. These workshops are relevant to in-prison, family, and re-entry ministry!
Bringing Hope: Angel Tree
The children of prisoners find themselves suddenly alone. One or both parents are removed from the home and the family is fighting for survival. Churches participating in Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Program are able to bring help to those families and to establish redemptive relationships. This workshop will explain the process and cast a vision for year-round ministry to prisoners' children.
Let the Church be the Church!
We all are eager to see incarcerated men and women reconciled to God. Yet even Christian prisoners often fail to successfully transition back to a life in society. This workshop will focus on Prison Fellowship's "Bridge Church" Ministry. We will look at how returning citizens are making a huge difference in helping men and women live transformed lives.
Through the years, conference participants have told us that one of the most important aspects of this event is the opportunity to meet with other volunteers to share ideas, build relationships, encourage one another, and to refine their ministry skills!
This event is offered to equip and strengthen the efforts of volunteers and churches in eastern Washington in their prison ministry efforts.
Please mark your calendar and join us on March 3, 2018 Prison Fellowship Volunteer Conference in Spokane!
Share this with all your friends and bring a group from your church. What a better way to get to know what's happening in eastern Washington than to attend this year's Annual Volunteer Conference.
